ok this guy i met and i are supposed to hang out. he wanted to tonight and he wasnt sure if he could. that was about an hour ago. i told him i was putting my fone on mobile (we were on yahoo) and to IM me when he found out for sure. and when i got back online after taking a shower and stuff, ya know getting ready, he wasnt online.
should i call him? or should i just wait til he gets online i mean, if he doesnt get online that prolly means he didnt wanna go tonight? right? the only reason i ask is that i dont want to seem stalkerish. should i call or should i wait? im supposed to be back home around 11. its 9:21 where i live right now. (it sux being 18 and living at home....theres still rules!) please help

Call him. But it's possible that being he was supposed to call an hour ago, and hasn't, that he wasn't able to go out tonight and forgot to call you. On the other hand, it's possible that if he wasn't on line, he's either on the way or chose to stay off line, because he knows you will be wanting to know the answer. It's also possible that he's dating someone else, in which case, you need to move on to another guy.

If he really wants to go out tonight he would call you and he would be very excited about it.
Maybe hes doing it on purpose as a technique,,,,
I would say .... send him a message to his mobile phone, telling him that you need to know if you are going out tonight or not because if not, you have other plan, so you need to know.
And if he doesnt answer you, dont call him.
Because he wasnt online, he wasnt paying atention to his phone, ....you are a busy girl, you have other things to do, other plans and you dont need to be looking for a date, so dont call him.

Just call and say whats up cause you cannot wait all night for a response when you could be out doing something else if it freaks him out then oh well he missed out not you and to me thats not stalkish thats just being blunt

Do not call. He knows your number, if he wants to call or see you, he'll find a way to reach you. May be not tonight but soon. Get busy, don't wait for him. Don't throw yourself at men's feet... they'll loose all respect for you.

If I was you, I would just text him and say, hey what's up for tonight cuz I gotta be home by 10...or just not do anything at all cuz if it's already 9:30 where you are, then you can't do much of anything at all...

Just call him Why should you wait around wondering....If you don't you'll just be up-set all night,,,,so do it now...and if you don't call & he doesn't get back on-line or call you He has poor manners for letting you hang...then move on to someone else.....

i would do neither. Why waste your time waiting for someone when there is no guarantee that he will either IM or call.
