As long as she has sufficient water and food she should be fine. Put extra food and water containers inside the cage so that if she exhausts the regualr feed, she will have enough. She wiil find them. If she is a messy bird, and some are very messy, get an under-cage seed catcher from a pet store.

Yes the bird will be fine for the most part however i advise getting a second bird and slowly adjusting them to one another. Lovebirds are colony breeders and therefore are extremely social. I will not sell my handraised babies as singles. I only let them go in sets so as to assure no psychological disorders form, as is common in single birds, such as feather plucking, excessive regurgatation on perches and toys and constant breeding of their toys etc. Think of it this way, people are not solitary creatures so would you like to be left alone all day and have some animal come spend a few hours with you a day but never see your own kind to interact with?

Although many people think that lovebirds are fine to keep as a solitary pet, this is not true at all. It is cruel to keep them as a single pet. Always buy lovebirds in twos, as they suffer more than most species on their own. In the wild, they would never, ever be on their own.

Yes it is, she will be fine. If you have a radio that you can leave on low for her she will appreciate it, just make sure it isn't too loud, because then she will have trouble sleeping.

Yes but be sure to leave the t.v. or radio on so she has something to listen to. Spend lots of time with her when you are home.
