Yes. You may find yourself fixating on a person, or willingly helping them out in ways or to extents that you would not normally go to. Perhaps you think about them a lot when you are alone, or worry about them unnecessarily. That could show that you love them, in either a romatic or platonic sense. This can happen even if they do not love you or know you well.
If you feel this way about someone with whom you have never spoken, that could be a problem. Be careful about the way you approach them, as you could offend them -- particularly if they are already taken.
If you feel this way about someone who doesn't really care about you in the same way, that can be ok, but watch out for your own back, and try not to let anyone else know how you feel. And don't expect anything extra of them because of your 'attentions' -- that's a really bad form of martyrdom which could result in you both hating each other.
If you do feel love for other people, that's a good thing -- try not to let that feeling be poisoned. Research eastern spiritual teachings and understand the ways that love can heal cultures and help people understand each other.
And if you're just talking about some boy at school, chances are he's digging on you too. Go ahead and ask him out -- worst case is he won't be interested and you'll be free to pursue another boy.

Yes, it is. I myself had this experience. My husband told me that I was in love with him. I was confused with the fact. I was scared of love and so I didnt' know if I was in love or not. I broke off the relationship several times, but my honey never gave up on me. Finally after at least a year I figured that I was in love. I stayed with him for a long time and now we are married. It is possible to be in love and not be aware of it. Though everyone is different. You can ignore the factors and feelings which make you fall in love. My honey did a lot of things for me to know that I was in love with him. I also didn't always want to feel it, but I did and didn't know what to do. But all is well now.

No, nothing makes a person as silly as love does. This relationship will be different than any other. More people have believed that they were in love and were not and no one is ever unaware of love, Sometimes it has to grow into love. when you truly love someone , not only do you know it but so does everyone else

Yes, your heart and soul will guide you, you may not be awear of your feelings or heart is telling you. Just trust yourself. It seems that if you really are in love with them, then you have a good first feeling becouse you are questioning the ablity for you to be in love.

I differentiate between the phrase "love" and "in love". I "love" my cat, but am "in love" with my wife.
In my experience, you realize that you "love" someone or something after you have already started to love them, and that the symptoms cause you to recognize the condition, but that the difference with "in love" is an exclusivity that must be recognized before the condition exists.

umm, personally i dont think so!! I think if you are in love with someone you will know it, because that person disturbs every thought you have.... From the moment you wake up to the moment you fall asleep you are constantly thinking about that person, thats just my opinion and from my experience!!

definitely, but you'll eventually realise it. I realised it after 3 months when we looked at each other for 2 minutes straight without talking in our chemistry class

Love is an emotion. You feel emotions. You will know when you love someone.
