This is for the African American women. What do you want in a black man?

I wanted to know what do African American women look for in a man. Because in my relationship I do alot for my girlfriend that most men now a days dont do I cook for her, rub her feet, write her poetry, even though my finances are tight these days I make sure that she has my last dollar, I even eat her best tasting dish(if you know what I mean) anytime she wants me to. My whole life is her I want nor need anyone but her and without her I would have no heart, but I dont think she feels the same way she says she does, but she frequently tries to put me down, she frequently ignores my phone calls, and she tries to make it seem like what I do for her doesent mean anything since I cant give her everything that she wants financially. So I just wanted to know what do black women want in a black man because im desperately trying to please my girl, but the more drama she creates the less I think I can take. It hurts to luv someone but they dont luv you back. Thanks in advance for your comments.

I think I speak for all African American women when I say there are two types of African American women:

1) Those that think there are only two types of African American women, and

2) Those that don't.

You need to not look for racial profiling trends. Instead, you need to figure out the reasons why YOUR GIRL specifically is inconsiderate to you. To do that:

a) Visit with her close friends and family separately and with her. Watch how she treats them. Ask about how she has been treated by previous men. Ask how she's treated her past men.
Look for patterns and motivations.

Bring a close friend, who you admire their people reading skills, to a social function with her. Get their fresh eyes perspectives and interpretaitons of her.

alot of the black guys at my school are posers- they pretend 2 be rough and tough..it's so annoying- they think they have 2 act a certain way- I don't care if they look like chris brown..if they're like that and try 2 talk 2 me...either rude or ignore them- I go for all races...so guys I look for are- honest-confident-true to themselves- respectful -nice && taller than me- he's not beneath me...not above me..right beside me...b/c he doesn't have 2 kiss the ground i walk on..and I sure as hell wont kiss the ground he walks on..we're equal- btw i'm 15.. and my answer probably doesn't really matter
