When my little brother was approaching his 2nd birthday, we heard that you can take the height of a child on his 2nd birthday and double it, and that will be his adult height. So on my brother's birthday, we measured him and he was 2 ft 4 1/2 inches. So we thought he would be a midget of about 4 ft 9 inches. Well, when he grew up, he was 5 ft 11 inches.
Everybody grows at a different rate. Depends on heredity, diet, hormones, etc.
