I mean there are a lot of mexicans that aren't illegals, and some people think they're all illegals.

Ignorance, just plain ignorance. I have had people to tell me to go back to my own country lots of times. My mother was Irish and Native American. This IS my country.

Do you really mean Mexican or Mexican American?
Because government statistics estimate that of true Mexican nationals present in the United States 50% are illegally here. 80% of new admittees over the last 5 years are estimated to be illegally here.
So clearly they aren't all illegal.

It is because it is our closes latin neighbor, and the media has alot todo, with so much negative, reporting of the
latin illegals, remember it is not just the Mexican that come here illegally, the others are from central, and south america. Lets not forget the illegal Irish, not so much is
said about them, because they blend in this society very well, and what about the Asian people? This country has
a phobia against the latin people in general! Remember it was not a Latin that attack on that most horrible day 9-11.
There is many illegals in this country lets make them pay
taxes on the wages they earn! and I do not care of what country they come from !! Just pay your damm taxes.

Well, Pepe...most of the "legal" Mexicans are only legal by virtue of being born here, usually to one or two illegal Mexican parents. Then the kid gets all the benefits of legal status, at taxpayer expense and often to the detriment of American children, while his parents continue to work illegally and not pay any taxes. Now, does that sound fair?

I know that it's sad, but just like any stereotype, a few bad people can ruin the way everyone sees the whole race. Unfortunetly, there are a lot of illegals who make good Mexicans who've got their citizenship the right way look bad.

Two reasons: 1- Because the stereotype is that all illegals are from Mexico. 2 - Because most illegal immigrants ARE from Mexico. Unfortunately, perception is sometimes harder to change.

most of the mexicans that live in USA are illegals, so its the first thought that comes to your head when you see one.

becuz everytime u see a mexican...they are illegal...go to walmart and ask if they have an ID that shows that they are here legally...they probably dont
