i think we'll know whose there and who isn't. i believe we'll be able to hug and love those who are there. i believe we'll miss the ones that aren't there.
i think of it like this. we "choose" to be with God and we go to heaven or we "choose" to be away from God and we go to hell. The Lord would never 'force' us to be somewhere for all eternity that we didn't want to be. if, during this life we refused the Lord's invitation of Heaven and instead accepted the devil's invitation to spurn the Lord and spend eternity with him---who is the Lord to question our decision? Isn't that what 'free will' is all about?
So, I believe we'll know that people are missing and we'll know who they are and where they are. But----it was their choice to be where they are. And if there are tears over this---and I'm sure there will be---the Lord God himself will wipe away every tear. It says in Revelation 21: 4---And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
The Lord Himself said in scripture----"I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse: therefore choose life, that you may live, you and your seed;

Ecclesiastes 9:5 &6, Revelation 21:4 1 Thessalonians 4:16 &17 okay I summerize-- yes we will know those whom we have already known who get there with us.--yes we will know if someone we knew isn't there. For 1000 years we will be able to judge if God made the right decision about those that did not make it. and after that we will be content with the decisions and won't cry about it again. It says He will wipe away the tears. And noone goes anywhere until he comes back at the end of the world.

Your in Hell right now! When you die, you will go to heaven far from here and will not return. It much more beautiful there and so fantastic, you wont' believe your eyes. You will see everybody there, but it is different than here on Earth.
There is no pain, or burn or suffer OR cry or hurt in any way. You are free to fly beautiful in the sky and roam about wondrous in a passion that is only seen upon your death.
Sp for right now, you are in Hell and must watch your every move and every step along your path to insure your safety. Your in control of your self and must be conscious of your every move. If you take a knife and cut your hand, you just cut your hand...that's Hell my friend. Keep your sanity and protect your life and when your body is withered and tired or even succumbs to the disease of this Hell we live in...have no worry, because that is just the flesh that dies not your soul.

I started reading the book 90 Minutes in Heaven in Wal*Mart one day, and it is about the preacher who died for 90 minutes, then returned to life. In that 90 minutes, he went to Heaven. This book is a true story written by the preacher it happened to. In this book, he said that when he first reached Heaven, he saw all the people who helped him on his Christian walk. So I say yes, you do get to see the your relatives and your friends in Heaven.
Hope I helped!

We can't die and go into eternity.
We are already there.
Whether it's a heaven or hell,
depends on our actions.
The main reason that one day we
awake and partake in life,
is because this is the way it works.
If it's not working too good for a
person, that person needs to try
putting forth more effort.

I believe that once you get pass the judgment part and you know
your fate you will know people, and that's weather you are in hell
or "heaven". We all must be judged first and I believe that at that time you will not care who is standing next to you or behind you, it will be about you at that time so you won't care who is there. After you get pass that stage then maybe you will want to see who else is there.

I think we'll know our loved ones. Jesus knew Moses etc. I really don't think we'll think about the ones who went to hell, I think that is on our minds here in this world, but there it won't be any longer.
I agree with you, the Scriptures portray heaven as happy, joyful and peaceful with no sadness, but I really do think we'll know one another. It's hard for us to fathom isn't it? It's going to be pretty incredible!

I know we wouldnt know who went to hell because there is no sorrow in heaven.Im not for sure if we will meet our love ones or not.I think we will just want to praise our Lord and sing praises to him.I think that will be more important.

I think there are going to be people that we thought should have gone to heaven and we will be shocked that they are not there and those we thought we would never see their will be and yes if they are not there you will know that they went to hell. i think that those that go to hell will be able to see those in heaven but i think those that are in heaven will not be able to see those in hell

I have been raised to believe that Heaven is everything wonderful and there is no sadness there, so I believe when you get to Heaven you will see all those dear to you who are there. I do not believe you will notice or recognize those who did not get to Heaven because that would cause you much sadness.
