its not like you are helping anyone. your just being insultive to god with things like 'becuase its fake' or 'fairytails can't do this' and such. it really is pointless and anoying, why do you all have to reply in a topic your doing nothing but insulting? let the people actually interested in relegion and god ask and awnser as they will.
most of the time when we christians, (or any relegion really) ask a question about the bible or a matter in it, we want a nice bible based awnser, and yet you don't add to it at all, just insult us for beleiving in god.

I am very sorry. I try not to reply to people's sincere quest for spiritual growth through others of their own faith. So I usually leave them alone and I apologize for the militant atheists who use opportunities in your questions to insult you.
However, I do like to post questions since I am interested in religion and I want to give you some food for thought or ask questions that I assume you don't ask or ask it in a certain way, ,shed it in a certain light which you are not accustomed to in your closed knit church community and families.
Again, I think this is a very good, safe forum for people to have religious debate and inquiry without it escalating to violence (which could easily happen in person).
Atheists are just looking to dispell myth and replace it with reason and science, I really can't blame them.
If you look at history, it's been brutal and unjust and most of it is because of ignorance.
I have never called anyone personally a bad name because they have a different opinion (that I know of or remember:) ) . and I disagree with anyone who does that because I think it shows one's lack of brain capacity to argue intelligently based on the subject.
When one resorts to personal attacks, that person has lost the debate in my book.
I have posted many an offensive question, which is my right and freedom and who is to say what is offensive? And when a person responds to it with name calling, it just makes me think that person is too dumb to articulate their beliefs and opinions. And that goes for anyone, atheist, agnostic, christian, muslim, etc.

"why exactly do you aethists answer here?"...you are aware that your questions show up on the home page right?

If your feelings are so easily hurt, or your faith shaken by answers that contradict your world view, the internet is not a place for you to be.

You're posting questions in an open public forum...this means everyone is entitled to answer...whether or not you like it.

As far as being "insultive"...true, you're going to find some individuals who will post, hiding behind anonymity acting like 5 year olds. Not everyone though. I offer up insight, knowledge, and evidence to support my assertations. I value knowledge over blind faith, and evidence over superstition. The bible tells you, as a christian, that you are to witness and preach to those who aren't converted. Alot of the atheists you'll see on these boards are doing the same thing...and it annoys you just as much as you're ministering does us.

In short, if you only want answers that you'll like, find a non public board...I promise (and only for myself) that I won't follow you.

I myself am not an athiest, but I find them to be the most logical and believable of peoples.

You Christians do the same damn thing to us. We ask questions about our homosexual relationships, you tell us that it is a sin and we will burn. How does is that supposed to make ANYONE want to be a Christian? Seriously! Why would anyone want to be around that kind of God? Not me. If Heaven is full of the people who answer these questions, then that would be Hell to me.

You say a murderer and rapist of small children gets into Heaven if he repents, but the detective who caught him, who never smokes or drinks and is monogamous and lives only to catch those who would do harm, well she goes to Hell if she doesn't repent.

Yeah, your God is really really swell!

Christians have destroyed so many fascinating and worthy cultures with their lust for wealth and the conquering of souls, and you all will until you die. It's a sad fact.

Maybe the Aethiests are hoping to talk you out of your theocentric world and hep you to realize the possibilities of other religions, cultures, and that MAYBE THERE IS NO GOD AT ALL, and all was for naught.

99% of the worlds religious in their own words or bibles are sinners. Very few atheists are sinners. When you ask a question in here it's expected that soemone other than religious types will answer it. This is called freedom of speech. If you can't take the heat stay out of the kitchen. Just answer questions.not ask and you want be bothered with atheists:).
You are christian(admit it) because you were born either to christian parents or in a largely christian city/county/state/ country/ (or christian missionaires were the first to get a toe hold in your country if you are foreign). religion is environmental.

There you holy rollers go again, denying everyone who doesn't believe as you do their inalienable right to express their opinions in a public forum.

They do it because the first amendment says they CAN do it and have the RIGHT to do it. Religion has nothing to do with belief OR God. You can wash your hands religiously 100 times a day, or religiously brush your teeth before you go to bed at night.

If anyone is being annoying, you people are with your constant barrage of propaganda about Atheists and Pagans and even me, who is neither.

I will always give an honest answer to a question and if some don't like it that is their choice. I do not go into questions that state "Christians only" nor do I answer questions on bible quotes because it isn't applicable to me. This is an open forum and not a christian only board.

But I am actually answering the question. When someone says what is your favorite bible verse, or will I get to heaven if I'm good but not xian, or whatever. i am legitimately answering that there is no god so what does it matter?

And tell the xians to stop going into the biology section and saying that evolution is false. It hurts my feelings :-(

I think it is because deep down inside, they have a longing for answers to what is obviously only going to be taken care of by GOD..

They are sometimes insensitive, but still looking for a sense of truth to root in their hearts.....

Have faith in GOD, and know that atheists too have a heart that is reachable by GOD if he sees the desire growing in them... ♥

So in saying this....... Yes some comments are rude and hurtful, but they are none the less reading the posts and for that alone can speak volumes....

We can show true Christian faith by setting a fine example.......... ♥ And answering them with a delicate heartfelt thought of truth.......♥

And although some of the posts that they do does not speak for all of them... There are many people who may not believe in GOD because they have had something tragic in their lives happen to them...

Or maybe they see a lot of hypocrisy...... We are all sinners even us who are Christians...... ♥

Have faith in others and show genuine love for Jesus and GOD by what we say and do..... ♥

EDIT: I just read your post and I am a studying Jehovahs Witness.. I am not baptized yet but it is a goal of mine........ ♥

We need to seek meekness, and follow in Jesus' footsteps closely... He spoke to all sorts of people as they are the ones needing it... ♥ Have faith in GOD that he reads our hearts... ♥ And that some are won with out a word, meaning we need to always remember our conduct to others can draw them to Jehovah.... ♥

some people are just trying to tell you the truth, religion, is all just about beliefs, dont you think so? you believe in this, you believe in that. but how can you really tell if what you are saying is true when you are just believing what other wrote or said, people can believe in whatever they want whether it is right or wrong as long it makes them live by with their beliefs like you do. its mostly not insultive, its the truth sometimes its just your perspective on accepting the truths.

If "Christ is the answer," why are Christians asking questions in the first place?

Not only do you attempt to speak for atheists, you appear to be claiming to speak for all other bible thumpers.

Who appointed you president or spokesman for bible thumpers, atheists, Yahoo, or anything else?
