I agree with you. Really???? I am the mom of 3 and the noise just wears on my nerves. I love to cut grass for the silence. It's okay laugh. Think about it, I don't hear the children screaming or yelling or making lots of loud noise. It is one hour of no children (generally). I miss my quiet time for reading and cross stitch, crochet and knitting. I have a hard time hearing people talk on the phone, because of all the noise.

YES! i have 3 boys, all grown now, the first week the hubby and i had the house to ourselves i had to start leaving the tv on cause i could hear the fridge running! way too much quiet for me! seriously tho, you will miss them and the chaos, but right now while they are young you need to work on maintaining a relationship with your hubby , preparing for the day that its just the two of you again, too many ppl get divorced after the kids are gone because they are living with a stranger!
then when the kids are gone, make your own chaos! we do

I raised 3 children alone for 23 years . When the lst one moved out, I could not wait to come home from work every day to just sit and stare at the wall, listen to the complte silence. It has been ten years now and I still can,t get enough

I have four children all of whom are grown up and are on their own in good jobs. Trust me!! You will cherish the silence and calm that that all brings. I love my kids dearly, but it is really nice to be able to see them and the grandchildren, all nine of them, and say good bye to retreat to the silence and stability of my home with my wife. I love the peace and quiet.

Good luck!!

I have 2 kids and I occasionally wish for peace and quiet. Well, I actually do get it when my daughter is in school and my son is napping. But then, my son wakes up and my daughter returns home - and i just love them so much.
But we all wish for the quiet sometimes - who wouldn't?
