An atheist was walking through the woods one day in Alaska, admiring all that evolution had created. "What majestic creation!" he said to himself. As he was walking alongside the river, he heard a rustling in the bushes behind him; he saw a 13-foot Kodiak brown bear beginning to charge towards him. He ran as fast as he could down the path, but saw that the bear was rapidly closing on him. Somehow, he ran even faster, so scared that tears came to his eyes. But alas, he tripped and fell to the ground. As he rolled over to pick himself up, the bear was right over him, reaching for him with its left paw and raising its right paw to strike him. "OH MY GOD! ..." Time stopped! The bear froze. The forest was silent. Even the river stopped moving..
"You deny me for all these years, and now want my help?" God asks.
"I won't become a Christian, make the bear a Christian instead."
"Fine, then." God replies.
The bear bowed and said: "Thanks God for this food which I'm about to eat!"

Aw jeez, not this **** again. Look, I have a better version.

There was the Christian and an atheist in the woods, and a bear came to get them, the atheist said "let's go!" and took the christain by the arm. But the Christian said "be at peace, oh yea of little faith" and he prayed to the righteous Lord, who did nothing as always, and the bear said nothing as it munched through his lunch of Christian.

1) Your average atheist is is just basing belief on evidence, and are not hostile to God. Sheesh. If God really did show himself, I would convert. I'm not holding my breath.

2) Your average atheist would not invoke God, why the hell should we?

The end.

Wanna convert to atheism?

If and whilst an atheist converts to Christianity, they at the instant are not an atheist. Romans 10:9-10 because of the fact, in case you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and have faith on your coronary heart that God raised him from the lifeless, you would be saved. (10) For with the middle one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. 2 Corinthians 5:17 consequently, if all people is in Christ, he's a clean introduction. The previous has gave up the ghost; behold, the hot has come. John 3:sixteen-18 "For God so enjoyed the international, that he gave his basically Son, that whoever believes in him shouldn't perish yet have eternal existence. (17) For God did not deliver his Son into the international to sentence the international, yet in simple terms so the international might desire to be saved by using him. (18) Whoever believes in him isn't condemned, yet whoever does not have faith is condemned already, because of the fact he has not believed interior the call of the only Son of God. John 3:36 Whoever believes interior the Son has eternal existence; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see existence, however the wrath of God remains on him.

Whatever. If god has the ability to stop time and talk to one person about to be eaten by a bear, you think maybe next time he could do something about 9/11 type attacks? Just a thought, no biggie, god, keep chillin' up there, it's cool...

Considering the fact that Christianity has told God how he created life, I for one dont, maybe the good Lord chose evolution as his technique!

Um, no. It's a story, and a stupid one for that. And saying "Oh my god" isn't praying, and a phrase of exclamation, and I think it's also taking "the Lord's name in vain". Get a life.

Great, create more anti-athiest feelings. They will convert if and when they are ready. This stupid story just shows you need to research the religion you claim to practice before you preach to others.
