This is a LOT of weight to lose. How much do you weigh now? If you oinly weigh 130 pounds, losing 50 is going to be very bad for business. Assuming you do weigh so much that 50 will put you into proportion to your bone structure and metabolism and because you are trying to lose so much in a relatively short period of time (I lost 80# going from 280# down to my current 200#, with my ideal being 190# but I did it over 10 months, roughly 2 pounds a week.), your best bet is a doctor and nutritionist to advise you on what and how much to eat with the doctor to monitor your general health. Initially, you will lose weight relatively quickly because it is mostly water at first. Burning fat takes time and effort. My rate at 2 pounds a week was considered rapid by my doctor. I was not on a special diet. I just ate less (A nutritionist advised me on quantities) and I did some mild exercise on a regular basis, specifically swimming laps for an hour several times a week.
Bottom line, the only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you consume, period. You are what you eat.

u may think taht all those diets on TV work, well they might, but THE best way to lose weight and keep it off, is the old fashon way. diet and excersise. just get those fruits and vegies and go for a jog every day and DONT FOREGET to drink water. not only does it help ur body feel better and look better but it helps ur complection BIG TIME!!!

EXERCISE!!! I know we all hate that word, but its true.. Changing your eating habits as well. I know from personal experience that changing your eating habits to eating more healtier foods like vegatables and cutting out the breads will help you achive your goal.. tell your very trustworthy friends to tie you up very securely to your bed, and not let you go for about a month, only letting you drink a gallon of water a day. You'll lose 50 lbs pretty quickly

run ur azz off 10 miles a day and stop eatting carbs eat only good carbs and dont eat after 7pm i lost 50 lbs in 2 months for the marines and the dr said i was very healthy
