It is normal for teeth to remain sensitive for up to a week or so. If it is getting slowely better it is alright, if it is getting better then it is not alright. Sometimes just the process of drilling on a tooth can cause a tooth to react badly and could result in the tooth needing additional treatment. Give it a week and if it is not better have the dentist check your bite to make sure it is not high.

It may take awhile. I'd give them a week as long as they don't get worse! If the pain is really bad, then call. If you can live with it, give it a week or two and then see how it is. But yeah, it does take a little while.
If it doesn't get better after a length of time, you may need a root canal. It's not that bad. Just be careful of how much gas they give you, it can get so good it's scary! lol

They can be for a couple months. Depends on how deep and if there were any bases put in to help against sensitivity.
