Because families are too lazy to work out their problems. Everyone now thinks that divorce is a quick fix to the problems in their marraiges, and they don't think that the kids will be affected because it "happens to everyone now days."

It's sad, but the main reason why they're so messy is because of pure laziness. Divorce should be frowned apon instead of being a quick fix. It's sickening.

I blame the "sins of the father". I, however decided to take a slightly different route. My birth mother lived in a 2 parent home with 3 other siblings, average income and a fine Christian upbringing. I believe she had it too easy. When she was 26 she married my birth father, had me and quickly thereafter divorced him. Then when I was 10 my birth mother left me with my grandparents when she got remarried and had a set of twins. (we had lived with them since day 1) "Out with the old and in with the new" As I got older I realized the pain I went through and didn't want to give the same pain to my offspring. Although I married at a somewhat early age (20) we waited 7 years to have a child and to this day we have been happily married for almost 9 years. I hope to tell my daughter about my life so she can try to make wise choices with out the painful childhood!

Intimate strangers. There are houses/apartments full of people with no connection often other than shared bloodline.I am working daily to reverse that sad trend. I keep the family connected with emails, phone calls, letters, and visits. Even the ones in prison get positive upliftment. I am creating from nothing the family that i wish to have.It requires risk and commitment. Peace.

Families are a mess 'cause everybody is cheating on their spouses. They are just ruining their family when they do this and they don't really care. All for that satisfaction when they could get the same thing from their spouses.

Because people are less secure about their financial situations due to financial instability and the loss of confidence in their employers. You can thank Republicans in government for this because they have made it easier for companies to lay off more people, made it harder for people to get job training, and have allowed corporations to do just about whatever they want.
