I live in Cyprus and we have them here to keep the peace between north and south cyprus they patrol the buffer zone and i have seen them down my road a few times. No offence here becasue i am from the uk but really USA and UK are going to carry on doing what they want regardless of what the UN say which is why they have no power over them

The UN was formed during the Cold war, the UK is a member of the UN, it has NO POWERS AT ALL, it can invoke trade restrictions and sanctions if agreed by the majority of member nations, so what the hell are you twittering on about?????

U.S. is one of five permanent member along with Russia, China, UK, France. they have veto power, and any of these countries can stop UN from any action. It's not just US and UK.
UN has many organizations under it. And it does many good things. International court of Justice, Economic commissions, Human rights commission are few of many parts of UN that work for this world
