if a person lives in the north pole for 6 months then in the south pole for the other 6 months of the year , dos it mean there bi polar ?

Maybe dual-polar, but, sure, bipolar could work.

Except for the fact that no one lives at the North Pole. People live in Antarctica--the South Pole...but no inhabitants of the North, since it is all sea, no land whatsoever.

That said, you could call them a Bipolar Pioneer, if in fact they forged ahead and lived at the unlivable North Pole.

I think there are time limits. Like if they lived there for under 24 hours, and then moved to the other pole, they are probably bipolar. I'm not sure what the limit is though. Probably if they lived there six months they are just cold.

They're 'semi-polar' actually.

They'd have to live at one pole for two years, then the other pole for two years, to be bi polar, at least in English.
