Eat well balanced. don't skip meals. don't eat fast food of any kind.

Breakfast-------
3/4 c NON sugar ceral
1 c 1% milk
1/2 of OJ or 1 piece of fruit (apple, orange)

SNACK mid a.m.
1 egg or 4oz of turkey ham or chicken
1 piece of fruit

Lunch
1 bread
8 oz turkey or chicken
1 c of vegetables either cooked or raw (this could be a salad of lettuce tomatoes, carrots)
1 tbs dressing (learn to dip the salad in the dressing it's better than dumping a ton of dressing) dressing is high in calories

Afternoon SNAck
1 piece of fruit

Dinner

1/2 c rice or 1/2 Baked Potatoe
8 oz turkey pattie
1 cup of vegetables

After dinner snack
1/2 light yogurt (no more than 85 calorie kind)
1/2 c fresh fruit

Drink 8 8 oz glasses of water a day.
Walk, Exercise to boost the metablism
Don't eat between meals unless it's a healthy snak item

Bottom line:

2 1/2 proteins, 4 vegetables, 3-4 fruits, 1 fat (tbs) 2 8oz milks, and 3 breads or starchs a day. This is well balanced and you will loose...trust me... I've eaten this way over a year and have lost over 90 lbs!!! :)

you should buy a lot of fruit and vegetables and fiberous food. fiber helps in the digestion system and even helps reduce calories in food. buy like ready-made salads (if you don't have any time to make salads) and cereal like kashi. just don't go cruising down the chips and soda aisle...avoid anything with high sugar content and a lot of meat. and remember that eating right is just the half of the process. exercising daily is crucial for weight loss; make it like a daily routine/habit to exercise. when you do get an urge to eat something sweet, go ahead and have a piece of chocolate or candy, BUT just a small piece! and most importantly, eat in MODERATION...you may eat really healthy food, but eating too many servings of it is kinda bad.

hope that helps you!

Usually vegetables are the best solution. Try eating salads and foods with low calories. Avoid greasy, fried, or cheesy foods. Go to a gym everyday and work out for at least one hour. Talk to your doctor for more information on dieting. He/She will have the best advice for your questions since he/she is the one that knows your health best. Good luck and best wishes.

Buy mostly plant based foods like fruits, vegetables and grains. Buy lean meats, and stay away from the junkfood section.

if youre not responsible for anyone else..... spend half of what you have for groceries on bottled water.. so even if you would want to eat a lot there wont be much there. and what there is left for food, get what you want!!! life is short live it up!!!
