According to Christianity, they all went to hell. That's the whole reason for Christ to come--was so that people didn't have to go to hell anymore. Now, they get to be browbeaten by self-righteous religious nuts, and THEN they can go to hell anyway!

Hello
People who lived before Jesus afterthey died go to the same place where we go today. To the grave. God told Adam that from the ground you came and to the ground you will return. The beleif in an after life is a pagan beleif which dated back to ancient Babylon. Those pagan beleif infiltrated into christianity during the early centuries. The litteral meaning of hell{in the greek] and shoel[in the hebrew] both mean grave, hole in the ground etc. Mankinds common grave. There will be a resurrection in the future. The Jews also beleived in a resurrection some what. I hope I helped. My e mail is wbyrnes100@hotmail.com if you would like to talk more. thanks friend

In every time from Adam, the very first human, there was a prophet to tell people the truth and take them back to the right way Allah wants humans to take so that they could live together in peace.
And this was until the appearance of prophet Mohamed (Peace Be Upon Him).
And so for the people that lived before Jesus Christ (Peace Be Upon Him), they divided into two groups, one of them went to the Heaven (Those who believed in the prophet of their time and obeyed him), the other group went to the hell (Those who disbelieved the prophet of their time and fought him).

And this is what we, Muslims, believe.

Well, there's a reason Jewish people don't believe in heaven. Before the coming of Christ, they went to basically went to "hell". One of the more obscure purposes of Jesus dying was to goto this "hell" and bring those chosen to heaven, and also allow those after his death to goto heaven provided they are Christians

Death is a departure from time. The spiritual "dimension" exists outside of time. So, outside of physical life, all truths apply simultaneously.

Therefore, all have sinned, the consequence of sin is death, the consequences are paid if you accept Jesus.

Jesus also exists atemporally (outside of time) so everyone gets to hear the truth, even if they died before Jesus came to save us.

They live by the Law as layed down in the Old Testament and none of them were non-sinners, of course, but instead of going to Heaven on their faith in Jesus having died/resurrected for their sins, they went to Heaven based on their faith that the Messiah was to come as promised.

Since The Creator Made the souls of all things from sparks that It threw off of its own body that became the souls of all that was and would be. before the physical Universe and everthing in it was made. those people went the same place that we are going to after our physical bodies die . the body back to the Earth from which it was made and the soul back to the creator.

the same place as people who died after Jesus. Jesus did not change where anyone goes-he only made it easier to get to heaven.

God created all human beigns...God is Jesus. Jesus came to earth after he created people because they needed him. that's why he died for our sins on the cross. If the people who died before Jesus believed and trusted in him, they went to heaven, everyone else went to hell. there is no such thing as purgatory.
