Just stop. These people are unable to grasp the concept that there were numerous other gods long before christianity was invented. And the fact that we still use thier names in association with the days of the week. They don't want to learn.( And they think we're the ones who don't want to learn)

Because Wednesday is the name we use to signify the fourth day of the week.
Do you believe in the old Roman gods? We use those names for some of our months, namely, Janus, Mars, and Juno.
Somehow I don't think that using their names to signify a specific place in time is the same as worshiping them or saying they exist.

By the way, it's perfectly acceptable to say 'Xtian' for 'Christian' as the 'X' is the Greek symbol for 'Christ' and it's often used as an abbreviation. So nobody should take exception to that part, imho.
