there's this guy that likes me that was too shy to tell me. one day he told me he thought i was really hott, fine etc. but i feel like he's saying theses things just to impress me and fall for him. iguess i just want him to be him self. b/c im sure he said that to a lot of other girls before me.

You gals have no clue...and I don't mean that disrespectfully. I mean, if the guy is shy, kind of like me, then it takes the will of a thousand men to make him tell you how he feels. If he truly feels that way, he does not nor has not felt that way about any other girl. Maybe I'm wrong, but since he sounds a lot like me, I felt like I had to say something. Perhaps you should give him a chance.

It would be nice to communicate this to him! Just so that you two can get past the unnecessary comments - to see if you really like him! You may not - with only comments such as those - you don't know where he is coming from or going to! If you're interested or not interested - you need to sit down, talk to him, and see if you two can come to some type of dialog other than those compliments! Take charge!

then tell him that he doesn't have to tell you all that crap you'd rather him tell you how ugly and fat you are. Jeez get your nose out the air for a minute and pay attn to what you just said, if he is shy he's not been going around telling this to all the other girls. And please he's not trying to impress you he's just trying to let you know that he's interested in you although i don't know why.
