No thanks.. I'll take your word for it.
In fact, I hope I never have to visit Mexico...
I've been there once-- helping the Mexican army guard their southern border, when I was in the Marines.. a few years ago..

Your comparing apples to oranges. The burned building likely wasn't insured and there were inadequate governmental services around to put out the fire without payment first. We don't know the particulars other than the fact that the building is in an area where the people have little or no money. We cannot judge a peoples motivation by the type of government they have. If we did, would we not be considered worse because we allow babies born within the US to become citizens while their fathers can be considered illegal aliens?

And where did you get this bigoted view?
Lets see someone risks life and limb travelling through desert heat and wildlife and crooks to try to get across a border patrolled by angy white men with guns, if unsucessful they do it all over again until they are sucessful, then they risk being preyed upon by the unscrupulous and if they find a job which is guaranteed not pay minimum wage they work like slaves and live in crowded boarding houses until they can do better.
The average White American would be dead in 5 days or crying asking mommy and daddy to send some money so they could get back home.
Now does that sound like a lack of ambition to you?

Maybe just Mexicans who live in Mexico. I certainly have no ambition or desire to work on a hot, tar soaked roof raking the smoking, reeking, molten semi liquid material on a 90 degree day, but the Mexicans here in NC do it. You really need to think about whether politics and sociology may have a big impact upon whether people perform a function or a task. Generally, if there is nothing in it for them personally they aren't going to do it.

Clap clap clap!!!! good job you moron!!! you can find places like those even in the USA ...your question just shows that you haven't been anywhere....I have seen building like the ones you describe (and they remain unfixed for years and years and guess what people do live in those buildings) in FRIGGIN' NEW JERSEY USA... I have seen poverty and hunger IN THE USA and I'm not talking about Mexicans I'm talking about Whites and blacks and other races...the difference is, in Mexico they do not have the kind of money to fix stuff fast ....In the USA they have all of the money you can imagine but guess what?.. a lot of people likes living on welfare and hand outs and s hit ...THOSE PEOPLE ARE JUST SUPER SPOILED ...I do not agree with you ..the perfect world in which you are living does not exist I do live in the USA as well... ambitious Mexicans are the ones who decided to be here in America

Um.. did it occur to you that your use of examples was flawed? Maybe buildings dont get re-built due to poverty. Here in the US most building owners have insurance which pays for a speedy repair. Im not sure about mexico, but it seems likely that insurance may be for the rich. Hmm. I know a lot of mexicans personally, and though I dont like to use stereotypes, I have to say that I see "them" working even harder and longer than we white priveleged people do. Up at the crack of dawn, work work work, (often for **** wages) come home, mow the lawn, weed garden, wash cars, play with kids and dogs, help elderly family members. More energy and effort than I put out. Im not sure how many of the mexicans I know are illegal or not. its never occured to me to care. Your way of thinking pisses me off and makes me think you are a racist who has now just displayed true ignorance for us all to be ashamed of.

I teach school. If Mexicans had less ambition than Americans, they wouldn't have enough ambition to inhale. We're horribly lazy. We're just rich and lazy, so we hire the Mexicans to work the construction jobs to build the buildings in our nice cities.
I find your analysis too far off the ignorance chart to be acceptable, and that's coming from a pretty judgmental guy.

I have a load of them living next door to me, and I mean load, I'd say around 15 in a 2 bedroom house, None of them work, they sit around doing nothing, their house is a neighborhood disgrace, They sell dope, Why else is the constant flow of traffic all hours of the day and nite, This block is primarily white people, and a few Mexican families, And out of the three families, one works, These people next door to me have young girls in and out, going in one car and coming back in another, Never the same girls in a given week, Now I know some smartasss will have something to say, But to me they are scumbags, living off the easy button, If they have so much ambition, send them back to their own crappy country, and see if they can make it liveable

if you say that mexicans dont have that much ambition i dont think thats true
alll the people of mexico have ambition maybe less than americans. I personally think that mexicans do have more ambition because nobodies paying them to rebuild but they usaully do rebuild it anyways just slowly, while americans do it if they get paid.
but in general i think most hispanics live a better life than americans, they are always happy no matter how bad the circumstances, to me americans us as a whole including me we whine alot

I disagree. Americans will sit at home taking money from the state and not get a job. Mexicans want that job so badly that they risk their lives to get here to work for practically free.
btw I do not support illegal immigration at all
