There is none-it is a little procedure and your dog should feel nothing.

haven't known any one to complain about it
and 95 of the dogs at the dog park are microchipped

They may bleed a little. You should place it between the shoulder blades under the muscle. Always find out for sure though. Exact directions are best.

There was absolutely nothing to it. Very quick. There is no awareness in the dog, or cat, that anything is in them, either. You can't feel it after it's done. And it's reassuring for you.

I thought I had my dogs reactions pegged. They fooled me, all three were very good, no crying at all.

none ,its a needle and the chip is in and the dog SHOULD be just like he/she always is!
