Does anyone hear still use Ephedra products? Whether you use it or not what do you think of it?

I definitely use an Ephedra product - it's called Herbalean.

The ban on Ephedra was lifted on Arpil 14th of this year, but some states (Illinois, Nebraska, Florida, and some counties in CA) still ban it. According to the ruling and FDA guidelines, the maximum allowable dose is 10mg, and it must be delivered over 24hrs by extended release.

And contrary to what some people think, you can't meka meth fro mthe Ma Huang ephedra - it's the natural herb. Ephedrine is the synthetic version that people use to make meth. Also, a little known fact is that more people die from Tylenol each year than have ever died from ephedra.

Like I said, I take a supplement caleld Herbalean. It contains Hoodia for appetite suppression, but it also contains Ma Huang Ephedra for an energy boost.

Herbalean is made by the company that originally produced MetaboLife, and it's an extended release formula wtih 77 trace minerals and 14 herbs to boost the effects of the Hoodia and Ephedra.

I've been taking it for a couple months now and get a load of energy through the whole day and I don't have the sweet cravings - I'm also not starving at each meal, so that helps me eat a lot less. I'm losing weight, but not as fast as I'd like because i've been working extra hours and haven't been eating that well or exercising as much. Still, I'm losing, not gaining!

As for the comment by the person above about "losing your life," don't worry about that. The 100 or so recorded deaths that happened over the course of a decade as a result of ephedrine overdoses are statistically insignificant. Google "aspirin deaths" and you'll find that that's less than the number of Americans that die from aspirin-related problems every WEEK. Look for a product called "Bronkaid" in the Cold/Cough section of your local pharmacy. In most states, the laws regulating ephedrine are similar to the laws regulating pseudoephedrine, (Sudafed,) so the procedure for getting it is usually the same. Not all states require that drug stores sell ephedrine, however, so it's a little harder to find. I've had a lot of luck with Rite-Aid, but I don't know if those exist where you live. You may have better luck getting it at the beginning of the month because each store is only allotted a limited amount monthly. At some places you have to ask the pharmacist if they have any, although some stores have little coupon-like things that bring up to the pharmacist. Either way, she'll need to take down the information on your driver's license and then you should be good to go.

I don't use it, but I HATE it!! My bi-polar daughter started using it about a year ago to give herself some energy. Her meds leave her tired all the time. This was her way of trying to feel "normal". All it did was screw her thinking up even more than it was!! It sent her to the mental hospital. Every time she got out she would go right back to using that crap. Now she is in a permanent group home thanks to ephedra. She can't be left alone due to the fact that she may find a way to get to the ephedra. This stuff is definitely dangerous!!

i have used it in the past and it worked great. i am currently looking for places to buy them. i had great energy without the fast heart rate and nervousness. you should not take this med if you have any of the conditions on the label and if you do take it you may experience some if not all of the side effects. it's a great product that's why people like it and it works it help you to lose weight and have energy. but like all meds have side effect and all meds aren't good for everyone. and i do mean all meds...you really can't blame the product because you have a choose. it may not always be the right one, but you do have one.

I still use it before my workouts.It has a positive influence on both metabolism and adrenalin secretion.It shouldn't be used in large quantities or by people on MA OI inhibitors (mono amine oxidase inhibitors).I have to stop using it a short time before I compete because it's illegal to use it during competition in the sanctioning body that I compete for.They use the IOC guidelines.It's legal for sale again since Oct. 2005
