I am moving into the area soon and want to live in a town with excellent schools.

I was wondering specifically about how the schools in these areas stack up against each other....White Plains, Chapel Hill, Peekskill and Ossining.

All of them. It's truly an exceptional area of the northeast. Southeastern CT is also fantastic. I hope you have a lot of money in the bank because it's very expensive, not just to buy a house, but to live in West Chester Cty. Taxes are a killer and traffic is a nightmare. If you can afford it, consider private school too.
It's a big county-narrow down your area of desired residence and I am sure we can give you more specifics.
