I'm continually amazed at the lack of literacy shown by many of the more religious individuals I encounter. Even terms they supposedly should be very familiar ... such as the word "pray" ... cannot be spelled correctly.
How is it someone who is unable to communicate properly through the written word claims to be capable of understanding the complexities and philosophical considerations encompassed by an ancient work, such as the Bible? I mean seriously ... if you can't read Green Eggs and Ham, don't tell me you can properly differentiate and interpret connotations of text written in languages now dead.
But there are plenty of intelligent Christians as well.
