Well I met this guy at my first job and he liked me too. Well its kinda wrong that we would always make out in the stock room but we never did anything else outside of that. He said that there was only one reason why i couldnt be his girlfriend, and it is because i told him i wanted to wait till marriage before doing the "deed" and he told me he respected that. Well I asked him if he still liked me and he said he does like me and he thinks im beautiful. But I dont get it? Why do guys let sex ruin it? Why is sex so important to guys? Hes said many times that hes not ready for nothing serious, but im just looking for a boyfriend, not a husband. So what is his deal??

You are right to wait. High five for respect for yourself! Don't ever let anyone tell you that you should be doing differently, even some really hot guy that walks into the room and makes you melt.

You did the right thing by telling him that you wanted to wait. And he was good for respecting your wishes. Maybe someday, he'll realize what has happened, "That he missed out on a good girl." Hold true to your beliefs. Don't ever let anyone change your mind for you. Your body is special and meant to be cherished, not thrown around like a piece of meat.

What he really needs to do is get over himself, he sounds kind of egotistical.
Because if he really cared about you, he'd be unselfish enough to give you what you wanted... (to wait until marriage).... even if it's not what he wants.

It doesn't sound like he really respects your decision. If he can't respect your wishes and wait, I personally don't think it's a good idea to go out with him.

Some guys just want sex and they don't care about anything else. Forget about them and move on, they're not worth your time.
