Those who hover about are waiting for an answer.
Col 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the time.
Col 4:6 Your speech should always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer each person.
Be ready.

Rudeness is not cool; however, I think some folks are genuinely interested in finding out how christians reconcile what we "outsiders" perceive as the many contradictions that the religion poses. It is exciting to have a forum where we can ask questions of those that are different from us; in an effort to better understand/love our fellow man.
Some people, however, just want to harrass christians, admittedly.

Most Christians tend to be thin shinned and perceive rational chat as being rude & harmful - - - such as arguing that the only historic document refering to Jesus Christ is from the Books of Mark John Etc - - - Most Christians tend to be intolerent of any dissent from their opinion. Forgiveness is not in the lexicon of most Evangelicals an example being Bill Clinton who is reviled for adultery years after the incident. Those of us who do not blindly accept Christ as our personal Savior are swiftly denounced as ignorant & rude. But we sincerely wish to add positive words to questions such as these. Peace.

In general it looks like 80% of the posts are the same.
1. Religious types who act superior with a religion.
2. Non-religious types who act superior without a religion.
Thank you to the 20% that have thoughtful comments.

It's fun to see you arrogant c0cksuckers get all huffy when your faith is challenged.
Typical of religion: If everyone is happily agreeing with you, it's all fine-and-dandy. But as soon as someone offers resistance or challenges you, you instantly wine that people are "rude and ignorant" as you put it.

The simplest answer I can offer is I guess they just don't have enough to do.
But, don't be put off, and don't be too "bummed out", and, whatever else you do, don't follow their behavior. Remember, "What goes around, comes around!"

They need someone to criticize, and Christianity just happens to be the largest institution on the planet. They're just insecure. I feel sorry for them. They're also angry.
