He could've lost it and feels stupid telling you, he may even be afraid that you might not like talkting to him or he is afraid that he can;t do much of a conversation....think good, not bad. Talk to him and ask him if anything is wrong.

it's a spur of the moment kind of feeling he had... he had the balls. then, when it came time to give you a call, he doubted himself and couldn't do it. "what am i gonna say?" his fear increases. "she probably thought i was a freakin' lunatic!" low self-esteem seals the deal, "she doesn't wanna hear from me. she probably didn't even gimme her REAL number".

OR:

maybe he's a chump-@ss "playa" and just enjoys boosting his ego by adding phone numbers to some COLLECTION he has wadded up in a jar that he keeps by his bed next to an UNUSED box of MAGNUM condoms.

OR: maybe you should be a little more elusive and make it more of a CHALLENGE to get your number. that way, he'll work so hard to get your number, he'll have to call.

i don't really know why some guys do that... me? i feel low for a minute but then i say, "damn right i'm gonna call her... this could be the one i've been dreaming about".

NO REGRETS.

best o' luck, QT.

p.s. - he might have lost it or wrote it down wrong but i doubt it... if something is important... you TRY to keep track of it.

Go figure!

Assume that he lost your number or wrote it down wrong. Don't think that you're inferior because some jerk said one thing and did another. I'm sure you've done similar things too. Maybe he was getting your number on a dare from a friend.

Forget about it and if he ever calls- tell him that you've lost all interest.

I found it strange that you got all "prettied up" for a phone call; you are putting way too much stress on yourself; in the future, get the guys number and that gives you a little more control over the situation.
