go darker it is hard to lighten a red almost impossible.

go darker, I know from experience, that red hair is VERY hard to die to a blonde, but you can die it blonde and it will turn out a very light strawberry, which is a pretty color, but I would say go darker, unless it will ruin your complexion.

i would suggest go a little bit darker cause with red hair, if you go blonde, it tends to fade really quickly. or go with a lighter shade or redish brown.

if you cant chose a color you could always die your hair blonde and get dark highlights or dark and get blonde highlights
