The appropriate age is whenever both parties involved have reached physical and emotional maturity.

RE:
When is the appropriate age to have sex?
Most egangelicals say that the right time to have sex is once you are married.... So if a 14 yr old gets married with their parents consent... 14 is the right age? What if you are a socially awkward person who never seems to find the person that they want to spend the rest of their life with......

A serious talk with your mother, and/or the women of your family, about this could set the foundation for you. Understanding sex is also required for your foundation. Age is not age - it is understanding yourself, as a person. Your value to the family you have and the community you live in. So 14 or 99 it's how you understand yourself that gives you support.
Understanding that mistakes after sex will have ramifications for you that you may not be ready for.
Today is very different than 30 -40 years ago. Truly serious sexually transmitted deceases are present today. Babies are made - unknowingly, even today - with all the knowledge we have, it amazes me.
Gather knowledge. If your mother can talk - go to her.
If she can't then BOTH of you go together to people that have answers for you.
Also girls that live the same as boys - are still treated differently. A bad reputation still as very bad today as it was - well, forever as a woman to ever have.
Humans love gossip and flinging mud. Don't give them any ammo.
Lastly, " And there should only be 1 sexual partner in your entire life right? 1 = holy and right, 2 = sinner and whorish?" --- Being holy has nothing to do with sex, but the actions before and after sex. (DID you lie? WILL you lie?, etc.) Being GODs creation - wait, see this is a question for your mother. The number of partners you have does not mean whore, well... NO - it means nothing.
Men and women look for their life partner differently.

The age of 14 is a tender age, when a person is still developing physically and emotionally. It is also illegal in the Uk at least to have sex under the age of 16. How could you know at this tender age who you want to spend the rest of your life with?
The teenage years is a time to begin to learn independance, to learn how to manage 'freedom' which as a child your too young to have. The teenage years are still formative years. Although I cannot give you 'right age' to be married, if your a Christian, then the Lord will have a plan and a purpose for your life - and if He is Lord of your life - He will show you each part of that plan, in His time, which includes a husband or wife. (Some don't marry).
As a Christian, its then and only then are you free to make love with your new husband/wife.

There is no one right age to have sex, that age is different for everyone. Hoever, according to the Bible, the only person that you should be having sex with is your husband or wife. If you have sex with more than one person, then it's wrong and if your married and have more than one partner, then it's considered adultry which according to the ten commandments, is wrong. One of the big questions that you need to ask yourself, whether or not your married, is if you can handle the emotional part of it. Sex is more than just flesh on flesh. You need to know, deep down that if you were to get pregnant, develop an STD, or the person you sleep with leaves you, that you can handle the fall out of your choice. Make sure that either way, you have someone that you can lean on.

The right time to have sex is after a couple become married.
I think a person should not get married until they are at least 20 (after High School is a good time to start looking for your mate).
The Bible does not specify how old one should be, but it best that people are mature (mentally and physical) before getting married.
I am a socially awkward person, I am 41 years old and I do not think that I will every get married, but having sex is not the most important concern.
It is proper to get married again if your spouse dies.

It really depends on the individual. I don't think physical age matters (just as long as they are not prepubescent, and it's legal and not pedophilia or statutory rape), but I think it's important that they have the emotional and mental maturity to be able to handle the act and the feelings that come with it. Teens as a general rule I don't think are emotionally ready for sex. Then again some 20-somethings aren't either (I also know even some 40-somethings who will NEVER be emotionally mature for it).

According to some cultures yes if you do not find someone you should not have sex.
Now lets be realistic that is not going to happen with most people. I think you should at least wait until 18 or 19 years old.
I don't think any parent should approve a 14 year old getting married. Which is usually to some old pervert.

You know, it wasn't until relatively recently that sex outside of marriage wasn't a scandal. (Even among unbelievers.) Nowadays, people freak out when someone's a virgin.
Marriage is the only time when sexual relations are allowed. Any sex outside the marriage bond is considered fornication (aka sexual immorality, depending on the translation) or adultery. (Hebrews 13:4 as one example)
Your example of someone marrying at age 14 is a rarity. Most people these days get married after they are 18. Nevertheless, if someone is under 18, it requires parental consent.
