I'm a representative of the Jewish people and we would like to make the following statement: We do not wish to be chosen anymore! We give up being chosen and you -- Christian or Muslim -- can have it! You think being chosen is so great? Go ahead and try it...

This reminds me of a line from Fiddler on the Roof, when Tevye finds out there's going to be a pogrom in Anatevka... He tells God he knows the Jews are the Chosen ones, but once, just once, he wishes he could not be chosen.

I think that's a good message of why being chosen isn't so great.

I would imagine being chosen wouldn't always be so great. First off, they get dispersed throughout the world, they're hated in many places, the holocaust, etc.. I think it might be a tad difficult to be the chosen, but I'm guessing all the suffering will be made up for in the end. This life is short, but we're talking eternity here, so I think when all is said and done, the chosen will truly feel chosen. I am truly sorry for the lot you've been given so far but please don't take such a thing lightly. Many of us would love to be in your shoes, suffering or not, just to be closer to Him throughout eternity.

Like the Chosen People? But you know for the Christians, everybody is chosen by God! By Christ's death, God has reconciled the world to himself and abolished the barriers between men. There is no more Jews, no Gentiles no men, no women, no slaves, no free men...(New Testament, galatian)
We are all called to follow Jesus...We are chosen by God...
I'm saved, I'm chosen by God, it's not an easy road but I'm so glad I took it...

It's only you who think you're chosen, no-one else has done for quite a while now. Oh, about 2000 years roughly and even then, you were fooling yourself.

However, I suspect you are as Jewish as an elephant's foreskin and probably as clever.

Who said u are the chosen one. That is something added in the bible by men. No one is chosen. Certainly not Jews, they do not believe in Jesus.

Thank you, I stand with the Lion of the tribe of Judah and with him only do I stand
Rev 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
Rev 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Well if you believe that kind of bull, then you have to settle for being God's chosen people. But wait, what kind of a god needs "chosen" people. If a god has favorites, then he truly isn't a god.
