A community, whether it is a local community or the world community can ONLY be improved by improving the individual members of that community. Then and ONLY then will a community be improved. By following the teachings of Christ Jesus, this can be achieved. Once individuals start doing THAT, the community will drastically and dramatically improve.

Expand and enhance Youth Services, especially for those at risk. Through the youth we can change the future. What I see now is that no one wants to spend the money on kids. As soon as you get a good idea, they say "No, $$$." Meanwhile there's plenty of $$$ for seminars, etc.

1) Kick out all the bums
2) Kick out all the drug dealers
3) Put welfare recepients to work planting trees, flowers, painting, etc.
4) Kick out the thugs, thieves, etc.
5) Build a nice community center
6) Make a park

i would with the help of Friends and their parents and some money of course
start a singing competition
start a campaign to bake cookies and sell and
have a sports day with a variety of sporting events for every age group

I would hold kis who commit vandalism and theft in our community more responsible for their actoins. I'd also hold their parents more responsible.
