Do what makes you feel better, If you think apologize, just do it, if not, let this event behind. Sooner or later the truth is brought to our eyes. See, I believe you, what makes you think your parents won't in the future? Try to avoid fighting her, for me that's the bigger person you're talkin' about. you're 14, enjoy your teen years and don't let her to take them away, she's 19, her teen years are vanishing away.
Think about it.

Lets hope David stops answering questions first. Then, why did she come to fight? Had you been fighting before that? You said you were friends, so what caused it? I think you need to talk to your brother and see how he feels about it all. Its not fair for a 14 year old to be stuck in a position like this. She should have been the grown up and not fight with someone your age. Id tell your brother you were sorry for the fight, but that you had no choice. Tell him you miss him, and you wished it was just over and done with. Maybe SHE'LL be the bigger person and say she was stupid for being drunk and fighting with a kid. Then, just let it be.

The better person always apologizes first. You sound very mature for your age and although fighting wasn't the best thing to do, you do know right from wrong apparently. Go ahead and apologize but don't be surprised if your brother's girlfriend doesn't accept it. Take your Mom and Dad with you when you apologize, she might be more receptive. Be proud of yourself for apologizing.

the only way for her to forgive all of you and and let your family go over is to forgive her first. you dont have to actually mean it, just act like you do to her. that way, she'll forgive you and it will all get straightened out faster. if you're not the bigger person she might never forgive you and then you may not be friends anymore. even though you're 14 and she is 19, she can still learn to forgive people from you, you could be an influence to her...i'd give it a try and if she doesnt forgive you then too bad for her

I would say go ahead an be the bigger person and apologize to her just so the family can become peaceful again...BUT @ least you don't have to worry about her pulling your card again..since she knows she can't handle a 14 year old..Well @ least not while she is drinking lol

It's always the right thing to be the bigger person. Go ahead and apologize. It will at least make you feel better. But I would be a gaurded person around her.

She was wrong, legally and morally, for assaulting you. However, you were wrong for the way you handled her verbal attack. You should've called the cops and had her removed from your home or gone to find a sober adult. You can apologize for your part in it and mean it without losing face. I hope, though, that she finds the maturity to accept responsibility for her own part in instigating this incident and will, in time, apologize to you.

Be the bigger person and apologize(and mean it!), doll. If they accept, fine. If they don't, at least you made a concerted effort. Good luck, hon.
