Can I have a campfire in my Yard if I live within the city limits of New Haven, CT? what are the regulations regarding this? Can anyone point me to the right place to find out?

Call the fire dept.They can tell you what you need.It cost me 175.00 and my son 175.00 cause we were both sitting around.Caint nobody say I dont support the local pigs.

Just call the local fire department and ask them. They'll know the regulations or city ordinances in their jurisdiction.

Well from what I understand the fire has got to be enclosed with a cover on it,to prevent hot ash from spreading.But if you do all that you can't enjoy your fire.So you might wanna call the fire dept. and see what they say.

You could look up city regulations, but it might be easiest to just call your local firehouse.
