Why! is it just because you can not handle the truth, maybe you should just go away so we can get on with the future learning understanding becoming knowledgeable and knowing where we really came from, Man has the ability to love and be peace-full he has compassion toward his fellow man and he lends his hand to those in need is committed to community and dose not have to have Jesus to talk about, God gave man a Divine knowledge to seek out the truth, and now that door has been opened to him, and religion simply can't handle what he has been discovering, you can continue to live in the past but I for one will move into the future and that's the wonder that God has given us and truth is what really sets us free and not much of that is found in religion I'm sorry to say.

Why can't you talk about Jesus and pat yourselves anywhere you want to, even if the evil atheist evolutionists don't go away?
They're not going to go away. They're throwing the evil cretinoid creationists off of school boards, and they're soon going to throw them out of Washington, D.C. That's because parents want their children to learn science, not medieval theology. Otherwise their kids will end up flipping burgers for a living.

I get a wish and gossiping about Jesus as well a pat on the back! Dang this just gets better and better! But I'm not Christian, maybe I can sneak in under the wire; if this thing served drinks I'd be all set!

Yes....and no.
Yes,with this condition of understanding on the part of believers:
not all atheists are "evil". They are simply people who are not convinced that God is real or that spirituality---as most people practice it or speak of it---is relevant. If a God created humankind and loves His creation, then we, out of respect for Him ought to love unbelievers as well. Any other behavior only adds to the conviction of some atheists that religious people are just playing a losing game.
To be more accurate, I don't anyone to "just go away". I hate to think where they would land if they were just sent away without anywhere to go.
I want people who don't want to discuss matters of importance with patience and civility to "go get a perspective" on what it feels like to be treated like dirt. To me, the willingness to discount and dismiss people is the essence of what evil is all about.
No, because I want all people to learn to at least try to get along.
Besides, the only people who can stop us from talking about Jesus is us. Selah (that is, pause and think on that)!
God bless us, each and every one.

No. I wish they'd all stay right here and read about Jesus. They have a choice just like we do. Maybe someday they'll read something that makes sense to them, and follow Christ. Until then "hate the sin, love the sinner" .... we are all sinners, so don't hate on people just becauses you've been redeemed, instead, lead people to Christ. The Bible says "He (Jesus) said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned."
No one is lost completly until they have died without salvation, who are we to turn people away?

Isaiah 64:8
Yet, O LORD, you are our Father.
We are the clay, you are the potter;
we are all the work of your hand.
Ever watch a pot evolve on the potter's wheel? I believe in creation, but, I'm not about to claim that I know how He went about doing it.
Genesis 1:20 And God said, "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky."

I feel that the athiests have a right to speak just as well as anyone else does. I would love to talk about Jesus without seeing all the dimwitted comments that are just disgusting, but I have noticed that it's not just the athiests that are doing it. So, why don't we try not singling any one belief out?

Ninja,
Of course not. How, can we ever demonstrate God's limitless love to them, if they go away? After all, God loves them, as much as He loves Billy Graham, or Jesus, or you. You already know this. Jesus Himself, spent almost all of His time and energy building relationships with these very same people while on earth. It is not the healthy who need a physician, but the sick. Now, do what Jesus told you to do. Love them, pray for them, do good to them, and bless them. And don't be a hypocrite.
