OMG - that sounds HORRIBLE. Well, I don't think that I am the type of person to do that, (although I can understand her anger), but I am sure that I would probably end the relationship. If it was a one-night stand, I would actually be more understanding than if it were an affair. What would the circumstances be? Were you drunk? Were you fighting? Were you on a 'break'? So, I am glad to hear that you learned from it, that's the most important thing. When someone trusts you with their hearts, that's a really precious thing. Don't blow it!

Sorry I'm a man, and I'm going to tell you what I would do if my "girl" cheated on me.
I wouldn't inflict any pain on her, first I'd ask what I did wrong to not satisfy her needs. If she gave me some stupid reason I'd be like whatever and dump her. If she gave me a truthful reason I'd try to talk it out. Fix it so that she doesn't have to do that. But it would hurt to see that she couldn't just ask me to fufill what she wanted me to do. So I'd probably dump her anyway.
If your girlfriend was good to you and loved you, she had right to knee you in the crotch. If she was ignoring you or that sort of thing, not satisfying you, you should have dumped her. Cheating isn't the answer to problems with your best friend.

when a person cheats on you, there is always a reson. what i would do is not go crazy like most of the girls would do but i would sit down and ask WHY? if the answer would be reasonable then i would respond to the best of my ability. if teh answer would be unreasonable at least i would know that i was dating a jerk. it would make me feel better.

I've already done it....kicked him out on his sorry butt...and even to this day he's wandering from woman to woman trying to 'replace' me. Damn pitiful if you ask me.
Oh, and I sent a fruit basket to his 'accomplice' thanking her for her assistance....(he was on his way to becoming a womanizer just like his dear old dad was and her inability to say no, just pointed this little problem out to me sooner than later)
Sorry....I don't condone the physical violence bit....personally I think revenge should be served very cold.

I would leave him. And I wouldn't do anything that would get me arrested for assault. I would let losing me and his own conscience roast him, what worse fate than to know you are a cheating snake?
