i feel like every since i havent had a boyfriend, that i have to re learn everything. i havent really been in the dating scene, in FOREVER...well it seems like forever...but its really only about 14 months...lol.
but what catches a guys attention?

I'll put in my 2 cents:
As a guy, I definitely want to be wanted too. So, If I notice a girl smile at me or give me a subliminal or direct "OK" and I am attracted to her, either physically or some other way- I'll pursue a conversation and give her all the attention she wants-(sometimes too much).
It also depends on what you're looking for. The suggestion of short skirt on Friday Night at a bar will attract a certain type of guy-usually.
Always look presentable, that could mean anything. To me- it means properly coordinated attire, CLEAN and well groomed.
Most important is attitude and demeanor. I've met some gorgeous girls that were so loud and obnoxious that I had to move on- fast!
Confidence and Intelligence is a big plus. A sense of humor is good too. That's enough for now, you don't want to be overloaded with info and ideas- your personality has to reflect the things that you represent....

it's all about self confidence. i've seen butt ugly girls make more impact on guys than pretty ones. i read that confidence is the key but never believed. i always rolled my eyes. but ive learned now that it's true. that is why you get more attention from guys when you already have a good boyfriend as is happening to me at this time. the boyfriend male you feel good and confident and beautiful in the inside. that radiates and other men see that.

Someone who can be content to be single. When you don't need a boyfriend, or aren't worried about what you need to do to get their attention, you're ready for a boyfriend, and will get the right one, instead of the one that is shallow and wants you to do things for his attention. When this happens, you'll find the guy that wants you for you, nothing more or less.
