I am not a Religious Sister (and can't be because of my gender), however I do work for a Convent (St. Josephs in Milwaukee - the School Sisters of St. Francis - http://www.sssf.org).
I will be happy to try and answer any questions you may have about the religious life. Those that I can't I can surely pass on to one of the sisters I work with and get back to you.

I think they are kind of hard to find because they are becoming extinct...I teach at a Catholic school, and I don't even see them there.
