do you think those who die without ever hearing about Jesus (tribal people etc.) go to Hell when they die? I lean topwards they do, because Jesus said "I am The Way, The Truth. and The Life... No man comes to the Father but by me."

do you agree w/me or not?
Give me some good thought-out answers here....

no I disagree, The Bible says that when Jesus ascended from Hell after defeating Satan and taking the keys of death hell and the grave, that he led captivity captive. meaning that He gave those already in hell a chance to accept the gift of salvation that he offered. In the book of revelations, it says that the books were opened and those the were not in the book of life were judged according to their lives.

Who would be held responsible for this? The tribal people who had no way of knowing or the Christians who didn't tell them?

I don't think they go to hell and I don't think it's for the above stated question either. Jesus is Truth. Anytime someone searches for the truth, honestly searches, he/she is looking for the person of Jesus without realizing it. It's not right for us to judge the eternal salvation of anyone: tribal, Agnostic, Athiest, Jewish, or other Christian. It's our job to live out the Gospel and the imitate the life of Christ as best we can and trust in God's goodness. Knowing the person of Christ just means we have more accountability and responsibility.

That's the theory.
But don't you think it's selfish to judge people just by the religion they chose or that is available to them? It shouldn't make any difference of what religion people are, but the people that they have became. If your words are true than a Cristian who has committed murder, or rape, or any other foul deed will go to Heaven just by telling it all to a priest, while a person of another religion who based their actions on moral will go to Hell.
And I can tell you this: Almost none of the people missionaries visited converted on their own free wile, one way or the other people had been forced, trough out history to convert. Look it up. In Rome people of different religions were tron to the lions. In congest of the Osman empire non-Muslims had an almost slave standard, etc. So if the only thing the Christian god can't take away from people is their free wile, who are mere humans to do that?

All who die go to hell for it is the grave. It is not a place of eternal torment like the churches of Christendom teach. God is love and would never think of torturing anyone. He is also a God of justice. How just would that be to burn someone forever?
This is what happens to someone who dies:
"Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest." Ecclesiastes 9:10
"For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing--" Ecclesiastes 9:5
So do the dead feel pain? Are they suffering in any way? God's Word tells us they feel nothing and know nothing. In fact, the Bible likens death to being in a deep sleep.
God promises that death & hell (graves) will soon be gone forever: "And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." (Revelation 20:13,14) The "lake of fire" represents total destruction.
If a person dies and had never been taught about Jesus or his Father, then they will lovingly be resurrected back to life on earth and be taught everything they need to know to please God as Habakkuk 2:14 says: "For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea."

The Bible says that in the Second Resurrection, everyone gets resurrected, some to life, others to judgement. Those who never heard about Christ actually have a better chance then those who did, but choose only to follow the parts of his teachings they find convenient. If they never heard about Christ, it will fully depend on their heart condition, or how they view life and lived their lives.

Remember, this will include everyone, even people we consider terrible. As humans, we don't know what truly was in their hearts and minds, only God does. Consider the man who plotted the Japanese attack the U.S. He was very good at what he did, but generally was against any war or military incursion. It believed in this so much so that at the time of the bombings of Pearl Harbor, he was kept on a carrier where he was out of reach by Warlord assassins intent to kill him.

There are billions of people who lived and died, never knowing about Christ, before and after he lived on earth, but had overall good lives. The possible exception will be those who lived before the great flood, as many of them were either fallen angels, or their children. There will even be those who didn't live good lives, and did harm to others, but had a mental illness that was driving them to do what they did.

It's going to take a lot of people to change this earth back into a paradise, and than to work on the other planets in the galaxy, as we use out full mental abilities to their full extent.

Man, either on the highest mountain or in the deepest sea, is now having more opportunity and responsibilty to hear the call of God with the invention of the Radio, the TV, and especially the Internet where he can embark on learning for the spiritual development of his soul.
We may say that he has no computer, he has no money to pay for the services, he even doesn't have enough food etc...If we know about any problems we should seek solutions to solve them. For example, the UN has embarked on a decade of literacy since 1990 and other programs to improve the condition of man. And if you knew that God is the Divine Teacher Who can show us the best ways to solve our problems, you would make greater effort in seeking Him and in encouraging other people to do the same.
Let us consciously and patiently do our own job in seeking God and in worshipping Him, and cherish our trust in God about His loving answer, assistance and judgement.

Will all those people who have never heard of Jesus Christ be sent to hell? First we must note that the Bible says God will judge all people righteously.1 It seems there will be a stricter judgment for those who have rejected the gospel of Jesus Christ than those who have never heard.2 Paul tells us that those who have never heard of the law are not imputed sin under the law.3 Paul also tells us that those who follow the law (e.g., practicing Jews) will be judged by the law.4 The people who have never heard of the law are judged by the law of God which He has placed into their hearts:

For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness, and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus. (Romans 2:14-16)

Im not going to say this is the Truth... but its my theory since I really dont see mention of those who never heard in the Bible... BUT in Revelation we read about a 1000 yr reign of Christ on the Earth with people. During this time, Satan is detained and cannot tempt anyone. After this period is over, Satan is released and free to tempt once again and then he, the false prophet and all who follow them are cast into the lake of fire. My theory is, those people who never knew or heard about Jesus are part of those people on Earth during those times, Now is their chance to hear and act on it. Satan will be able to tempt some at the end of that, it would likely be someone who never knew before, than someone who knew in life, lived with Jesus for 1000, where THEN tempted by Satan. I dont mean that all the people who didn't know before would BE tempted just that it would be more likely them to be tempted than the ones who knew in life.

If a way to get to heaven is by not hearing about Jesus then the way to get people to heaven is NOT to preach the Gospel so no one would hear and everyone would go to heaven! How do you actually know that there are such people? Since God creats everyone and determines where they are born he knows all this about them. God is going to save all his ELECT people, not one of them will be lost. So, all the elect will hear the Gospel for certain. It does not matter if the non-elect hear the Gospel because they are not elect. yet, the Bible says everyone is without excuse, both elect and non-elect alike.

no man comes to the Father but by Me also applies to people before Christ... who didnt have a clear idea of Him

so... I think there might be some people who's sins are forgiven thorugh Jesus by God's mercysomehow... it's possible

but its best to lean on promises we know for sure, today is the day of salvation

O.K. John 11:11-14 says- HE said these things, and after this he said to them: "Lazarus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep." Therefore the disciples said to him: "Lord, if he has gone to rest, he will get well." Jesus had spoken, however, about his death. But they imagined he was speaking about taking rest in sleep. At that time, therefore, Jesus said to them outspokenly: "Lazarus has died

In the book of Revelation they speak about a great ressurection, that ressurection is going to be all the dead that died before and during the tribulation. At this time they will get a chance to know the Lord and if they choose to live by His government, then they will get to live in paradise. If they don't then they will be cast out with satan and his demons.
I hope this answers your question.
