Why immigrants are racist with people from other countries?

I have noticed a lot of racism and prejudice between immigrants living in the USA , a common denominator here is that everybody thinks or believes that their countries of origin are better than others and they love to ridicule others cultures and brag about it, everybody talks crap about everybody to the point that is so ridiculous ....I really need to understand why this happening between immigrants......aren't we suppose to unite? .....

In an ideal world, why... yes... we're supposed to unite. But we live in a real world, and you will find people whose pride on their heritage will not take a back seat to anything else. The heritage even becomes a way to protect yourself against the realities of a different culture, to which you must adapt. You also will find people who are simply too ignorant, and too narrow minded.
However, there is another problem. Immigrants may come from countries that have historical quarrels, because of land, etc, or because of exploitation and even genocide. I mean, think of rwanda! do you really think that the hutsi and the tutu are going to be singing kumbaya together just because they emigrated to the US?
As for Hispanic immigrants, you have to be aware that just because we all speak Spanish, it doesn´t mean we're all cut from the same pattern. We have different cultures, and we also have stereotypes which are widely known throughout Latin America. Yup, we're no different than those people in the US who tell red-neck jokes, except that we tell Argentinian jokes.

IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU OF NOT LIKEING THIS PERSON. BUT THE THING IS THE ONLY REASON WHY IMMIGRANTS ARE RACIST WITH OTHER PEOPLE IS BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE HAVE NOT GONE FURTHER TO NEW PLACES, ENJOY THE WORLD, SEEK NEW FUTURES, MOST ARE JUST STUCK IN THE PAST WITH WHAT HAPPEN A LONG TIME AGO RATHER THAN MOVING ON AND START A NEW ONE.

THAT'S WHAT I THINK AND MAYBE SOMEDAY PEOPLE WILL COME TO THERE SENCES THAT HATING PEOPLE OR YOU WOULD SAY RACIST WILL NEVER CHANGE A THING BUT HATRED AND DEATHS. THANKS AND GOD BLESS YOU......
