black hair on a pale person can make them look like a ghost...it really does depend on how pale your skin is. Just remember that if dying your hair balck, it can be a right b$%^& to take out, lots of lifting color at the salon that can cost alot..so choose wisely...if you are not too sure on the black, dye it a couple of shades lighter, if you like that and your skin doesnt look too pale, dye it a shade darker than the one you dyed it with and so forth...but remember...you cant dye it all these shades in one go, it is better to wait 2 weeks before you color next, as too much chemical processes on the hair can really damage it...if you go with this option, use a really good deep conditioner or treatment conditioner in between colors. Good luck

Looks fine on most people that do it but you also have a lot of other factors to watch out for if you go with black hair such as eye color if you have pale eye color your eyes will take a back seat to your hair, how fast your hair grows if it grow rapid then you will need A LOT of touch ups which can be costly.
If your not 100% positive don't do it. It takes forever to grow out.

I am very pale too. I do naturally have Dark Brown hair, I like it but I recently change to red. Like it even more. Just dont go too black, go for a dark brown. Black is hard to take out if you decide to change your mind. But I think it would look great. Confidence is everything.

Well if you have natural rosy cheeks, then no, you would look weird, but if u have some color it would look fine. Also be careful of eye color, in my opinion blue eyes & green eyes would look beautiful with black hair, but brown would look a little strange because as you know, blck and brown don't mix well. You sound like a beautiful girl! Good Luck!!! Hope this helped...

I think black hair looks good on a pale person. Wear a lip color and it will look very striking. Good luck.

I'm very pale, and have no hair by choice. However, when I do grow my hair, it is very black. I never felt that the contrast was a problem. It is up to the individual.

i think blue black looks really good if you are super pale like nicole kidman or have a pink undertone. if you have an olive undertone stay away from it...use a softer natural or brownish black to keep you from looking milky white. if you're yellow than you can do either/or since your undertone is so versitile.

if you truley are pale look at jessica from the pussycat dolls for inspiration...

Usually Black hair appears harsh on light skinned people.I would try a dark brown shade, or perhaps an Auburn would look nice.

Just my opinion, but I think making your hair black will be a huge mistake. If you don't like it you will have to strip the color out and that is very bad for your hair. Color does not remove color. Why don't you try a shade of brown.like medium brown. you can always make it darker.

try a medium or dark brown temp dye first, and see how that looks, you may even like it better, or it'll turn your hair black anyway! (a dark brown dye turned my medium-light brown hair black after i used a medium dye and it did nothing to get my original color back!) and if you straighten your hair a lot, i might rethink the dyeing anyway because your hair is going to feel like straw...
