I have my granddaughter all weekend and she just fell asleep in my arms and it is the most wonderful feeling in the world. She's taking her "power nap" only though. Her 2 hour one was earlier. Are there any other grandparents (and yes, I'm YOUNG - regarless kids of what you may think). Anyway, aren't grandchildren like the most awesome people?????? Am I right? I am SO happy when she's around. I have a grandson on the way too and it will be so much fun..........:)

I think grandparents are the greatest people in the world.I loved my grandma for the 14 yrs i got to spend with her.She was so wise,thoughtful,and loving.Nope noone can compare to grandparents.Good luck God bless:O)

I'm so jealous. I have one grandson who lives half way across the country from me. I wish I could hold him and have him fall asleep in my arms. I've only seen him twice. He just turned 4 years old and is as handsome as his dad :-)

Enjoy them while they're young. Once they hit their teens, they become strangers in their own skin.
