the darker gene is dominant, but genetics science shows that the recessive gene can pop up anytime, etc
so baby can be dark or light

No answer is accurate. The baby can turn out any color.
Brown, Light brown, Orange-brown-yellowish, white, olive, etc.

It's happened in the past that a white couple gave birth to a black baby. The reason why the baby turned out so dark is because the mother or father or both have african genes in them from an ancestor years and years ago and that gene rubbed off on their child. Even though the parents look white, they still have genes and their child really inherited the genes completely and turned out black.
Yes it's the couple's biological child. It has happened a few times in the past.

Almost anything is possible when it comes to genetics

It could be any color since all the genes for evey color are shared between you and your mate.

BTW, did you see on TV where the twins were born and one was white and one was black?

It's up to chance what the baby will look like, not just the color but everything about the baby. But the genes have to be in at least one of the parents.

you are mixed and if you had a white wife the baby would be lighter than you but it could also happen that the baby would be white like her mom. Depends on who's genes are stronger.
My Mom is mixed and had 3 chidren by a "white" man, and all three children came out different colors. one lighter than the other.

There is no answer here until you have a child. You are mixed and the genes might show up darker and you could have a black child even though the mother is white or you could have a fair complected child. A friend of mine in college was black her parents were both white as snow and she wasn't adopted however her great grandmother was black and it just took several generations for it to show back up.

The baby would not be a mixed color the baby would be dark, light or any other skin color that is in the family. For example my half brother is 3/4 mexican he had a kid with an irish girl and their kid is darker than either of them. It is completely random.

I would think the baby would look white , but i guess The child could take after grandparents or great -grandparents and be black. It probably don't matter what color it is-I'm sure the parents will love it to death no matter what.

My husband is white and black (and native american as well) and I am caucasian. Our son has white skin with some black features (like a wider nose). He is perfectly adorable though. I love mixed babes, I think they are just the cutest of them all!

actually the genes for skin colour can occur in more than 40 different forms from totally black to snow white. given that, it may well be that your kid would be as dark as a massai but there is an equal possibility that his or her skin will look as white as any caucasians. here is a lovely example of what can happen - the two little girls in this picture are twins:

mostly i'd say your kid would be sort of cappuchino colour though...

It could be either. My son goes to school with someone who has two white parents and the child is black.......paternity tests were done because of this.....I guess somewhere down the line there was a black person in the family.
