USA citizens get so mad because some of the immigrants can't speak english, but have noticed that Spanish is the second language, half of this world speak spanish, so i was thinking, Since you USA citizens are much more skilled to learn diferent things your brains are much more open to learn things, why don't you guys learn spanish and leave the freaking immigrants alone, anyway one of these days SPANISH is going to be the first language in the USA, i know that you hate the idea, but it'll be like that...you will see.....bye

I believe that, like Canada, the USA should officially be a dual-language country. There are so many people in the USA that speak Spanish that they should teach Anglos to learn Spanish and teach English to those who speak Spanish.

In Asia, they don't speak spanish they speak many asian dialects, in Russia they speak Russian Cyrllic, in India and Pakistan they speak Hindi and Urdu, while in Alaska they have the Eskimo who speaks inuits. So, tell me these, how do you know for a fact that, "Half of this world speaks spanish"? When in fact Earth has approximately 6,500,000,000 human inhabitants and counting (wikipedia.org) and how do you measure or count on how many human on this planet speak spanish?
So, if you don't know the facts don't just blab your mouth, you're not the only immigrant in this country. What you want to do is to educate those people not agitate them. Do you think by posting such question you will make other people like the spanish immigrant? Beside, Spanish is not the natural language for immigrant from south of the border, Spanish from the south of the border are a variation of the original Spanish language from the country of Spain in Europe. So, don't be to hasteful to make any conclusion that have no basics, you are better of educating those who actually cares about the immigrant then you are making stupid comment like this on the internet. No it won't whered you come up with that idea it might be like a brother language, but it will never be the first. Unless the spanish kill all the english speaking people. Go to any other country and they expect you to speak their language even though they won't say it. And no half of the world doesn't speak spanish... Variations yes but not the same You can't take someone in Mexico and take them over to lets say Spain and it is the same. They have different accents, words, and conjugations of their words. Learn your facts before you go and make such a big assumption

First, if you're not a U.S. citizen, then the illegal immigration problems that we face are none of your business unless you have a valid solution you are willing to share. Second, if immigrants come to the States then they should be able to speak the language if they intend to be a contributing member of the community. We are not talking about the world community, we are talking about the community in the States. That's what the first language is of the States; that's what they should learn. The first language of the world is Mandarin Chinese simply because there are so many Chinese. Do you think, then, that the world should adopt Mandarin as it's language and are you willing to do it? No, of course not because your idea is stupid.

From your name I guess you are German or of German descent. So, what is the official language of Germany, should it be Turkish since there is a substantial Turkish minority in Germany? Anyway, the Turks are breeding faster than native Germans and will exceed the number of Germans at some point. Turkish will become the first language of Germany one day, bye.

English is needed to deal with all the other countries in the world, so English will always predominate. If America becomes Spanish only, the country will become third-world quickly.
