Schizophrenia causes auditory and visual hallucinations
("God spoke to me from a burning bush", "God revealed the Qu'ran to me", "God spoken to me as I was on my way to Damascus")

Schizophrenia causes delusions of grandeur
("I am the son of God", "I am the Lord's chosen prophet")

In any case, anyone saying the same thing today would definitely be committed to a mental hospital.

Just an observation. Any opinions on the psychiatric diagnosis?

People hear and see what they want to hear and see. I'm sure they could have had SAD ((schizo affective disorder)) in some sort of way. I'm positive Muhammad was just paranoid as was Hitler and Stalin. But the likelyhood of that is not so large.

People also like power and to have authority, some of those men just wanted to scam people into making them feel powerful, so they deluded themselves and a crowd of people.

The Prophet Muhammad has no problems.God Almighty bless him. So does Jesus and Moses. I am not sure about St. Paul. I doubt him being Jesus' true disciple.

Muhammed has epilepsy. Many epileptics are deeply religious and delusional.

Moses. He was a political leader.

Jesus. If anyone was the real thing it was him.

St. Paul. He made no claims other than being a devotee of Jesus. Lots of people do that today without any stigma.

Schizophrenia also causes very obvious problems with emotions and behavior. There is no evidence of either Moses, Jesus, or Paul having these kinds of problems.
