Different members of my family have a total of 5! Hannah is a miniature, Daisy is wire haired and the other 3 who's names I forget look like Palomino Ponies. What's your question?

I had 1 who lived 17 yrs. After a couple years without her, I bought a black & tan puppy---Maryanne.Then I was given a doxie who was thrown out of a car on the highway.She was already named Ginger. A while after that, I put an add in the paper for a nother Doxie. The people who had the dog ended up giving him to me.He had been for sale--and they didn't get any calls from anyone they trusted. So I aquired Charlie Brown!!! My daughter had gotten a black and tan male--the previous owner had starved him, and broken his leg. She had to move, and couldn't have pets--so I adopted Goose. The only one I actually named was Maryanne. I love them all, and they sleep with me, and are always by my side. I think they are the best breed of dog for a pet.

I have a miniature dachshund and have had dachshunds my entire life. Oldest one was 17. I just lost my 16 year old. Rescued my current mini. She's a blast. We call her the Wereweiner because she's a little devil. Real name is Penny. They are the best dogs.
