The Yagi antenna is not V shaped.

The Yagi consists of a boom with a number of parallel elements attached to it at their centre. The more elements, the higher the relative gain, and the narrower its beamwidth (its directivity) and therefore the more critical its azimuth alignment.

Use a good antenna. The "Yagi" which is the normal "V" shaped TV type is good as it is more Directional. You can use the cheaper Flat wire to run to your Radio. The larger the Yagi the better it will receive, also, the higher up it mounted will help. Point in the direction of the station and then tune the Radio Best it will, then you can fine tune the antenna by moving left or right until you have the best signal.

Its mostly in the antenna. But you didnt state if it is an AM or FM station that you wish to listen too. It makes a huge difference.

Search Yahoo to see if the radio station has a webpage. Many offer online streaming audio. Good luck!

I think it would help get a concise answer if you explained the frequency it is on and what problems you are now having receiving it.

100 miles isn't THAT much. I'll be it's doable if you tell us all the situation.

Some stations do webcasts from their websites... otherwise you can't do much else. The distance of their broadcast is dependant upon the strength of their broadcast signal. Nothing you can do will pull it in
