It must be very annoying to get acne, as if being on your period wasn't bad enough.
I would recommend that you use a good antibacterial face wash both morning and before you go to bed, during the time you get you acne.
If the flare ups are bad, annoying or depressing, ( acne is unpleasant) I would recommend going and seeing you doctor. Yhey will probably be able to prescribe a strong antibacterial facewash or a very mild antibiotic lotion you apply directly to your face.
Hope this helps, don't let they acne get you down.

hormone changes, just make sure to keep your face really clean and free from oil around that time. Try a scrub 1-2 times a week, that made a difference with me.

I know what your thinking, What does a man know about periods? Well I went 17 years living in a household full of women,so trust me on this one. You can go see a doctor,or a dermatologist. What I think is its just nature towards the female gender of having pimples when you start your period,so it my be just something normal. Just see a doctor or dermatologist just in case.

I have the same thing, You get a bit run down and your face and hair change texture. I find it makes a real difference if I've been 'looking after' myself that month - eating and sleeping well.

It's called hormone change. You can cleanse your face with a facial cleanser twice a day.

It happens to many people...try using something like Proactiv - it works really well (and use it all the time, not just before your period) and you won't suffer the break-outs.
