Depends if you & her are friends you could have a chance or she could just stick you in the friend zone b/c she cant pix herself dating you b/c your more of a friend to her. Or if you dont know her and she called you buddy well just think of it this way she knows you exsit. Now if you want to get her attention ask her out to dinner or the movies just as friends and see how it goes from there. She will probablly like that and you will probablly have a new girlfriend.

You are lucky ... what she meant is that she enjoys your company a lot and she likes you as a friend. If you want the relationship to change its course, it may be possible but don't rush.
