Hopefully you were smart enough to get a warranty on the appliance; better yet you may have even purchased an extended one if you're lucky, but let's assume you just have the standard warranty. You have to analyze how long the appliance worked well for and make sure it has not expired. Assuming it has not expired, gently package the appliance back up and return it to where it came from -- her mother (hereafter referred to as "the manufacturer"). Outline to the Manufacturer that the appliance she produced has become faulty and no longer serves its function. Perhaps she has another appliance that is still available? If she does, demand for a replacement immediately. If she does not have a replacement and that is the only appliance she ever had available, the Manufacturer is responsible for keeping the appliance with her until she is able to upgrade and perhaps re-train the appliance to perform at its best. If none of the above works, it is time to leave the appliance with the Manufacturer and go to Hooters. Buona fortuna.

you could start by rounding up the kids hand each of them a trash bag and some gloves, and GET TO WORK!! Did you hire her to marry you, is there a written agreement stating in detail her job requirements along with the pay offered? Did you clearly make it understood from the beginning that marrying you, means to clean up after youand the kids???
To fix her... ahem.... after you and the kids clean up, you need to write a proposal clearly stating what is expected of her and how much you will be paying her. Yes pay her, maids/houskeepers/sitters/cooks they all GET PAID with DAYS OFF!! If you won't pay her then I suggest you and the kids get off your lazy asses and clean up after yourselves, wash your own clothes, cook your own meals, dust, vaccum, sweep, mop, etc. and let her find a job so that she can support how own self. Doesn't seem like you do. She has been accomodating everyone's needs but her own, who accomodates hers? Obviously, no one even considers that, it has driven her to go on strike!!! And they way you speak of her, like an appliance, she is a human being. You married an appliance?
If I were you, I would start showing some respect and appreciation, I am sure that would have prevented her from 'breaking down'. If your wife wants to leave, let her go!! You don't love her anyway, right? You referred to her at 'it', what is wrong with you!!

You have an interesting humor, funny to us but disrespectful if you do it in front of your wife. Ok, we'll laugh because its just between you and us, but lets get serious for just a second. Your wife married you to live together in harmony, that means working with each other to satisfy each other's needs, requests, desire, love, etc. You two need to talk (hint: use respect and be kind) and reconcile each point you differ with her and her with you. Let her "win" some and ask her to allow you to "win" some too. If harmony is re-established after this talk, you are lucky. If not, work hard to get there. Relationships take work, its difficult, but you must face the challenges if you want to be happy in this family. Good luck.

Have you ever considered getting off your fatass and trying to clean up after yourself? Cleaning is not just the woman's job - my husband and I split the household chores 50/50. No wonder your wife doesn't like you and thinks her mother was right!

Maybe you could try offering to share some of the housework with her. Maybe her mother told her all you wanted her for was a domesticated slave and it turns out her mother was right. Maybe all she did was acquire another a** and a big one at that.

start learning how to clean your own house! in a family, everybody has to chip in, I don't care if you're working or not. how can you say "acquired" her.. that's very offensive. you're not like the owner of a sports team and you just "acquire" players!
please don't tell me you're really like this, you're putting us on... are there still men like you in this day and age?
unbelieveable!
ugh, I'm going to answer some questions from sane people next!

whenever mom or dad are sick and tired of that piece of crap they take it out to the front lawn and the men in mystery trucks come after dark and pile it in the back and off they go with all kinds of stuff, no headlights.
