I went to Michaels craft store and paid $30 for a set of 50 do-it-yourself cards. I was able to easily make them on my computer. 300! Wow! Just watch out for deals and get as many people helping you as possible. Good Luck!!

Just got married last year and priced invites all over the place. I learned that you can spend as much or as little as you want. We ended up doing most of our stuff with a local designer

who gave us more for our money than the big stationery companies. Nina (Concrete Abstract) couldn't do envelopes, though, so we bought through an on-line stationery/invitation discounter. Search online for wedding invitation discount and you'll find sites that link to individuals who sell the same stuff you get in stationery stores, but at a 10-20% discount.

Best to price things in the stores looking at the albums first, then compare to what you can do online so you can be sure you're getting the best value.

I think we paid $8-$9 per invite set. It could be done for less and it could certainly be done for more...

Depends on your definition of good value. I've seen these invites go for around $1.00 each, to "you pick how much" each. Same with response cards/envelopes, reception cards, napkins, etc.

It really depends on the invitations (and all) you choose. I am a rep for Regency Thermographics and we have a wide variety of price ranges. If you're interested, check out http://AphroditesCreations.regency.ac

Good luck!
